Ray Ban

Launched in 1937, the Ray-Ban brand was originally made for the US Air Force pilots that experienced headaches and altitude sickness from the glare of the sun. The iconic Ray-Ban Aviator frame with anti-glare green lenses was born.

During World War II, the company developed new tints and lens coatings to improve the visual performance of the pilots. The vast popularity in the military made the Ray-Ban brand famous worldwide.
